Hello and happy Thursday. I feel like I’m changing the title in every post, but I’m too lazy to look at the last one I wrote and consistency is overrated anyway, right? Today we’re going to sit down for a few minutes and think about things that have made us happy. I’ll help you by sharing five of mine. Let’s get started, shall we?

#1270: Taking a short nap on my way home.
Over time, I have become an expert bus napper. Yes, I have developed the skills to fall asleep on a bus and wake up in time to get off at my stop. And no, I don’t mean a school bus, but an actual public transportation vehicle. Besides those precious moments of undisturbed rest, I think it made me happy to know that I was actually able to wake up on my own before my stop. That proves just how well my intuition works.

#1291: Wearing two makeup looks in one day.
I am assuming that I had a nighttime event, so I wore my regular (extra) makeup look during the day, and then I removed all of it and put on a new face. I don’t do that anymore because I am basically a hermit and I don’t go out at night as much, but there’s this magic that comes from transforming a daytime look into a nighttime one. It’s like playing pretend or like you’re two different people or something.

#1321: Going to the movies with my grandmother.
My grandmother is the coolest person you will ever meet and the absolute love of my life, so of course, I decided to take her to the movies on a Friday afternoon. I worked until noon on Fridays, so it was perfect. I went to her house and we went to the mall that’s close by and we watched the cutest movie ever. It’s a French film about this old man who creates an online profile for a dating site but he lies about his age and ends up falling for a woman who’s much younger than him, and if that doesn’t sound like the best kind of movie you could watch with your grandmother, I don’t know what does.

#1345: Resisting more my HIIT workout.
This sounds like it’s grammatically incorrect, but I’m not sure how the phrasing should go. In 2017 I was super into getting fit, not because I wanted to lose weight or be skinny but because I wanted to gain more muscle. For this, my nutritionist suggested HIIT, high-intensity interval training. And let me tell you, it was intense, so I obviously felt very proud of myself when I felt that I was able to resist more time or to do the exercises more intensely.

#1371: Having tickets for the Bruno Mars concert.
I went to this concert with my sister and my two best friends and it was amazing. The process of getting the tickets? Not so much. Everybody and their mom was on that website on the day the ticket sale began, obviously, so the site crashed and my best friend was pressuring me and I, in turn, was pressuring my dad because this sale was exclusive for people who had a credit card with a certain bank and my dad had that credit card. It was stressful, to say the least, so when the tickets were purchased I was equal parts happy and relieved.
Those are my five happy thoughts for the month of September and now I want you to tell me something that has made you happy. Spread the good vibes in the comments below.
Love, Miss Camila
