Hello and happy Monday. Ever since I saw a picture of Khloé Kardashian rocking a super simple wash of color look on her eyes, I’ve been obsessed. Now, this look has existed forever, so Khloé didn’t create it or anything, but I think she’s one of the people setting the trend again for it. If you don’t know, the wash of color is a very diffused application of eyeshadow all over the eyelid and in the lower lash line. What I mean by “diffused,” and what you probably already gathered by the term “wash of color” is that it is neither precise nor packed; you just want your eyes to look like they have some color on them. I think it’s a perfect look to try on when you’re on the go because it looks like you put effort into it when you really didn’t. These are the steps I followed to accomplish it:
- Shimmery brown (eyelid + bottom lash line)
- Copper pencil eyeliner (tightline)
- Opaque lipgloss
- Metallic lip topper
Which shade do you reach for when doing a wash of color look? Let me know in the comments.
Love, Miss Camila
