Face Makeup Mini Haul

Face Makeup Mini Haul

Hello and happy Sunday. I feel like I haven’t sat down and written a makeup-related post in ages because to be fair, I haven’t sat down and properly played with makeup in a long time. I’m not going to promise to get back to it because honestly, I’m just going with my instinct and if I’m not as into makeup as I used to be, then that’s fine. Don’t get me wrong, I still wear makeup every day, I just don’t play or experiment with it as much as I used to. Anyway, when I do go full glam, my main focus is on the face, which is why today I want to talk to you about some products I got.

The sachet is a sample of a Kevyn Aucoin foundation/BB cream/ whatever you call it. It came with an eyebrow pencil I bought and honestly, they could’ve done so much better than a sachet, but it’s fine since I’m not going to shop that brand again. It was perhaps a bit too liquid and a bit too dark for my taste, which was expected since nobody really asked me what my skin tone was.

Next, we have Goldfaden MD Vital Boost Solution, which is a moisturizing cream. It smells like orange, which I’m totally into. The texture is more gel-like than that of a lotion, and it absorbs super quickly, leaving a soft sensation on the skin. I haven’t tried it for a considerable amount of time to have a clear idea of how it works, but since this came in an Ipsy Glam Bag, I don’t feel obliged to like it.

The Wet n’ Wild Cushion Foundation will change your life. Okay, let’s move on. No, but seriously, I really loved this foundation. I’m using the past tense because I’m already done with it and I’m not repurchasing it considering I got it before I pledged to only buy makeup from female-owned brands. This is really a game-changer in terms of having control of how much product you’re actually using and applying to your face. I used it with my makeup sponge and I felt that every single time, my foundation was even and the coverage was amazing.

I got the Bare Minerals setting spray, which I’m sure wasn’t called a setting spray, as a reward from Ipsy or something like that. It was okay, I mean, I didn’t notice anything different about my makeup on the days I was wearing this, which means nothing extremely bad happened but also nothing remarkably good. If you’re into natural brands and can afford this setting spray, go for it.

Is there any makeup product or brand you’re super into right now? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy Sunday!

Love, Miss Camila
