Hello and happy Friday. Today’s post really excites me because I love talking about snacks, especially if they’re cheap and foreign. I have done Kawaii Box unboxings, and I love that they come with candy. Well, today I will haul the Japan Candy Box, which only contains candy and yummy snacks. Let’s get started, shall we?
Meiji Gochi Sour Plum Gummies
I love gummies but I’d never had plum flavored ones. I loved these. They are coated with sour sugar, which makes my mouth water just to think about. I will say though, that the smell that comes from the bag is super chemically, but you shouldn’t expect anything else from a bag of Japanese gummies. I mean, if you want natural sweets, look elsewhere.
Kit Kat Cranberry Almond Minibar
This was good. Anything Kit Kat related is. I have to say, though, that the cranberries tasted and felt more flowery than fruity, if that makes any sense. It was a teeny tiny bite, but I’d definitely have the full size thing.
Osatsu Doki Sweet Potato Chips- Apple Pie Flavor
I don’t remember eating anything apple pie flavor, but I do remember eating a bag of sweet potato chips that were indeed very sweet. I like to add salt or mayo to my sweet potato fries, and even though they’re technically the same thing, the chips just aren’t the same for me. They were good, just not great.
Kanro Pure Gummy Mixed Berry Flavor
This supposedly was made with real fruit juice, and I’ll believe them, because I could sense a difference in taste compared to the other gummies. Japanese people love their sour gummies and their sour sugar, and I love them for that.
Gudetama White Chocolate Bar
I’m pretty sure this is the same concept as a Kit Kat. Wafer covered by chocolate. Make it white chocolate and I’m a happy camper. This was a regular-sized chocolate, so I could enjoy more of it, which was awesome.
Calbee Jagabee Osastubee Sweet Potato Chips
These are actually shaped like fries, which made me enjoy them more, just because of what I said earlier. They had that sweet/salty taste that I really like, so out of the two sweet potato items in the box, this is definitely my favorite.
Coris Plum Chewy Candy
Okay, the Japanese people love plum, apparently, and even though that’s not a very common flavor for my Colombian palette, I thought it was good. I love chewy candy, but I have to say that I was disappointed that these weren’t actually gum. It would’ve made them much cooler in my opinion.
Bonchi Ponsuke Arare Crackers
This is probably one of the oddest things I’ve tasted. I’m all picky when it comes to textures and this is one I couldn’t figure out. It was like eating pop in a way, but the flavor and the heaviness of it were not like pop corn at all. I did eat the whole bag in one sitting and felt kinda sick at the end, but I think it was the huge amount of carbs I’d just consumed.
Bourbon Bit Chocolate Crunch
Bourbon is actually the brand, so don’t worry if like me you don’t like alcohol in your body. This one was, like the description said, crunchy, and I was very happy about it. I love crunchy chocolate more than I like regular chocolate, and I love regular chocolate. This, too, was a very small piece, so I’d have a larger size any day.
Pine Sherbert Pero Fun Dip Lollipop
This was amazing. I love the type of candy you can dip into powder, and I love biting the lollipop once the powder is gone because I have no self-control and I can’t just lick it. I’m not sure what the flavor was, but I liked it.
Out of these delicious items, which would you like to try and why?
Love, Miss Camila
