Hello and happy Thursday. Try to say the title of this post three times as fast as you can. Okay, now that you’ve warmed up, let’s remember five things that made me happy in YESvember.

#1663: Advancing on my trashy mommy porn book.
Hello, my name is Camila and I like erotica. I’m pretty sure that around this time I was devouring the Calendar Girl series by Audrey Carlan, which I really enjoyed. Also, saying that reading mommy porn is an understatement, we all know that I was looking for another adjective that also starts with h and ends with y. Here are some links if you want to know my in-depth thoughts on this series: [x] [x][x][x]. Enjoy!

#1668: End-of-the-year massages.
I’m seriously trying to remember this day but I can’t. I seriously have no idea what I was talking about, and I’m not even sure if I meant to write “massages” or “messages.” Either way, I was happy about them and that’s all that matters, right?

#1673: Having my desk decorated for my birthday.
Last week I told you that my birthday is on November 4th, which in 2017 was a Saturday, if I’m not mistaken. When I got to school the following Monday, my desk was full of balloons and party decorations, and there was a cupcake that one of my co-workers had brought me. I still have that picture somewhere because it made me super happy to feel so loved and appreciated by my colleagues.

#1679: Getting out of a lunch date I don’t want to attend.
This person whom I was supposed to meet for lunch on November 9th, I’m not sure if I’m really sorry because, in all honesty, I don’t remember what this was about. Now that I’m more aware of my anxiety, I realize that I probably wasn’t just being lazy since social gatherings can be really triggering at times.

#1684: Creating and uploading a new resource in Spanish.
Even though this blog is mostly in English, and even though I teach English, that’s not my first language. Spanish is my first language, and I feel proud when I can share things in Spanish with the world. This resource I’m talking about is a book study, so I also find it really cool to spread the word about Colombian authors and give them the visibility and recognition they deserve.
What is something that has made you happy this week? Let me know in the comments.
Love, Miss Camila
