“Corrective” Makeup

“Corrective” Makeup

Hello and happy Monday. Today I actually got up early-ish like a productive human being, packed my bags for a trip I had tomorrow, shaved, self-tanned and did my makeup because in a couple of hours I’m going to meet my best friends for lunch. Because I actually had the time and energy, I decided it would be fun to share with you a step-by-step routine I learned at my professional makeup courses to have flawless-looking skin. I personally don’t like the term “corrective” because I feel it implies there’s something wrong with a person’s face, but I do think that by following the routine you’ll get an even skin tone, less appearance of pores or texture, and an overall healthy look. Everything aside from the face makeup is up to you. I did apply mascara, lip gloss, a contour powder on the crease and powder highlighter on the lid.

  1. Primer
  2. Color correct large areas
  3. Foundation
  4. Spot concealing
  5. Eyebrows
  6. Cream highlighter
  7. Contour
  8. Powder (seal and bake)
  9. Blush
  10. Powder highlighter
  11. Eye primer

How would you complement this routine? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy Monday!

Love, Miss Camila
