Hello and happy Tuesday. Let’s talk about food, babies, because it’s no secret that I love to eat and I love snacks. The ones I’m hauling today are from this super fancy store I always walk by on my way home from therapy. This is the kind of stuff that you’d get at a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s, but I’m only just saying that because I’ve never gone to either. Let’s get started, shall we?
First we have peanut butter pop corn, which I got because of the novelty, but I ended up liking. It’s one of those healthy snacks that really have no calories and will leave you hungry within ten minutes of eating, but they were nice. This particular brand is Colombian, but I’m sure that in the U.S there are many brands already releasing products like this. One pack of this pop corn costs a little under 60 cents, so that’s pretty awesome if you ask me.
Then we have white cheddar cheese pop corn, which is nothing new but it’s the ultimate snack for me. To be honest, I’d never seen white cheddar pop corn in Colombia, but I’d tried it in the States and was obviously excited to see this Colombian brand producing it. The price is just under 60 cents as well.
Another snack that I love from the States are sweet potato fries, so I didn’t think twice about getting sweet potato chips. Let me tell you, I wasn’t thrilled. I mean, I guess what I like about sweet potato fries is adding lots of salt and mayo to them, not really eating, well, sweet potatoes. Who would’ve known? That bag cost a little over $1.50, but we’re not going to talk about it.
I got a nut cookie for the road, which is why you see an empty bag in the bottom row. I like nut cookies and oatmeal cookies, but because this was vegan and basically had no real ingredients it was super dry. I wouldn’t have minded had I been able to drink a glass of almond milk with it or something, but I was walking in the street, so that was not possible. This cookie cost $1.35.
Finally I got a vegan brownie. Yes, I know, it was a vegan brownie, and I should’ve known what to expect based on previous experiences. That being said, it could’ve been worse. I mean, I did eat it all. I paid for it a little under $2, which I do regret because it was an expensive brownie.
Which of these snacks would you be more curious to try? Let me know in the comments.
Love, Miss Camila
