September 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag

September 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag

Hello and happy Sunday. It feels like I haven’t unboxed an Ipsy Glam Bag in a while, and I always have fun doing these more in-depth posts and putting them together for you. Let’s get started, shall we?

It Hair Care 12-In-One Leave In Conditioner

Let me start by saying this product smells like all the good things in the world. I sometimes reach for it just to smell it. I only wash my hair during the weekends, so when washing time comes, my tips are sometimes a bit dry and need love. Well, this conditioner gives them all the love. I got the sample version, and it contains 2 oz or 60 mL. The full size version contains 10.2 oz or 300 mL and is $17. I think that I would pay that price for this product because I’ve seen it work wonders with my hair, and I only need a small amount each time, so it’s going to last me a long time.

Doucce Cheek Blush in RSVP

This is one of those brands I know and love thanks to Ipsy, but that  will probably never reach for on my own because I don’t agree with the price of its products. Yes, I got a beautiful mauve blush that has a bit of shimmer in it and that I think goes well with everything. But I’m not going to pay $28 for it when I’m sure I can get a dupe from NYX or Maybelline.

Trestique Mini Lip Glaze in Mumbai Magenta

I accidentally got two of these, not sure why, but I’m not mad. This is a hot girl boss pink, which you know I have in different versions. I like that even though this is a very strong color and you can build it up, it still has a sheen to it, like a softer side to it. The full size product, which comes with a primer, is $25. This is standard Trestique price and I paid it for lip products in the past, but this particular shade is not one I reach for a lot, so I wouldn’t spend that amount of money on it again.

Luxie Beauty Harley Quinn Detailed Flat Definer 110

I use this brush to apply my concealer and I’m love with it. I will tell you more about some techniques I’ve been incorporating to my makeup routine in an upcoming post. I love getting brushes in my glam bags but I have like three blending brushes and three foundation ones already, so it’s nice to get other type of brushes for a change. This brush normally would be $20 but it is now on sale for $14. Do I think that’s a more reasonable price? Totally. Would I pay that money if I wanted to buy that brush. I don’t think so, considering that there are awesome brands that sell brushes for half that price.

Glamour Dolls Retractable Gel Eyeliner in Blue

Speaking about a brand that sells affordable high quality products, I got a blue eyeliner from Glamour Dolls and I’ve been giving it some love. It’s not the typical in your face super pigmented eyeliner like some out there, but you can build it up and get that pop of color I love. For some reason the website is only showing be a black eyeliner, which is $2.99. Do I really need to say it? Yes I do. I would definitely buy one of each color available for that price.

Which of these products would you buy? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy Sunday!

Love, Miss Camila
