Makeup Therapy

Hello and happy Monday. I know that because I schedule my posts, you don’t actually know much of what happens in “real time” with my life. Also, today’s post is makeup related, so I don’t want to dwell too much into personal stuff; I’ll leave that for another day and another post. Anyway, I’m telling you all this because I’ve been dealing with a lot lately and today is the first day in while that I actually play with makeup. Let’s make today’s post about taking a break from drama and just doing what makes us happy for a few minutes. Here are the steps I followed to achieve the look:


  1. Primer
  2. Concealer
  3. Foundation
  4. Eyebrows
  5. Silver stick eyeshadow (eyelid base)
  6. Pearl eyeshadow (eyelid)
  7. Burgundy (outer corner)
  8. Black eyeliner (waterline)
  9. Mascara
  10. Burgundy (lower lash line)
  11. Powder
  12. Bronzer
  13. Blush
  14. Matte liquid lipstick
  15. Lipgloss
