Hello and happy Monday. Through these posts I’ve shared with you some of the makeup techniques I consider essential for everyday. I’ve explained the basics of a smokey eye, and a reverse smokey eye, which are two looks I use a lot, but probably my favorite of all are the ombré eyes. Now, ombré means a gradient, which means that you go from a lighter color to a darker one. This is very common, and I’m sure you’ve noticed that most eye looks have a lighter color in the inner corner and end up darker in the outer corner. Sometimes I use three and even four different shades for an ombré eye, but today I’ll show you how to achieve it using only two shades.
- Primer
- Concealer
- Foundation
- Eyebrows
- Copper (eyelid)
- Copper (lower lash line)
- Blend into the crease with a clean brush
- Gold (eyelid)
- Black gel eyeliner (tightline)
- Black gel eyeliner (top lash line)
- Mascara
- Powder
- Contour
- Blush
- Highlighter
- Mauve lipstick
- Baby pink lipgloss

Happy Monday!
