A Guide to Ombré Eyes

A Guide to Ombré Eyes

Hello and happy Monday. Through these posts I’ve shared with you some of the makeup techniques I consider essential for everyday. I’ve explained the basics of a smokey eye, and a reverse smokey eye, which are two looks I use a lot, but probably my favorite of all are the ombré eyes. Now, ombré means a gradient, which means that you go from a lighter color to a darker one. This is very common, and I’m sure you’ve noticed that most eye looks have a lighter color in the inner corner and end up darker in the outer corner. Sometimes I use three and even four different shades for an ombré eye, but today I’ll show you how to achieve it using only two shades.

  1. Primer
  2. Concealer
  3. Foundation
  4. Eyebrows
  5. Copper (eyelid)
  6. Copper (lower lash line)
  7. Blend into the crease with a clean brush
  8. Gold (eyelid)
  9. Black gel eyeliner (tightline)
  10. Black gel eyeliner (top lash line)
  11. Mascara
  12. Powder
  13. Contour
  14. Blush
  15. Highlighter
  16. Mauve lipstick
  17. Baby pink lipgloss

Happy Monday!

Love, Miss Camila
