March Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing + Review

Hello and happy Sunday. Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the products I got in my Ipsy Glam Bag for the month of March. Before I begin, let me just say I loved the design of the bag and the fact that you could color it with two markers that were included. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get started, shall we?

ROYAL & LANGNICKEL Prismatic Ombre Fan Brush

This is one of those things I consider cute but totally unnecessary when it comes to makeup. I’d never owned a fan brush before this one, although I must admit there were times when I felt curious and wanted to try how these worked. This particular brush fits in my brush bag, but just barely, so the bristles sometimes get bent. When using it to apply highlighter, I feel that more product falls than what actually gets picked up, and then the amount that ends on my face is minimal.

TARTE COSMETICS Sex Kitten Eyeliner

I think I’ve said it before, but Tarte is one of those brands that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy if it weren’t for Ipsy because there’s no way I’d pay full-price for any of its products. This eyeliner is just okay. I actually had a bit of trouble with the application the first time I wore it because I felt it wasn’t smooth at all. Now what I do is apply it and then smudge it with a brush, and that seems to work. Still, I’d never get this product in a full-size or include it in my regular makeup routine.

BRTC Jasmine Waterful Foaming Cleanser

Ipsy loves to send over face washes, and I love to put them to the test. I recently talked about one that was made with egg whites and how I was super into it and would totally repurchase it when I had the money. I think this cleanser, though, beats the other one, at least in terms of quality. Why? First, I love that fresh and flowery scent that makes me feel like I’m actually cleaning my face. It feels super soft afterwards, and I feel it acts in a very delicate way on my skin, which I love.

DOUCCE Freematic Eyeshadow Mono in Ariana

I’d tried other products from Doucce and I really like this brand. The eyeshadow I got is a golden brown, which I think is a foolproof shade. You can wear it alone, or as an outer-corner shade, and it’ll look amazing. I like the fact that you can build up the pigmentation. This was a hit through and through.

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET COSMETICS Baked Highlighter in Prosecco

I’ve tried powder products from DLS and I love their formulation, so I was confident in that aspect. I have to admit, however, that I didn’t really think a mauve highlighter would do me any good. Of course, I then tried it over my red blush and discovered I loved how it looked. This is a great alternative to all the other highlighters I have, which don’t really go well on top of reds or hot pinks.

As always, I’d like you to tell me which product you’d like to try and why.

Happy Sunday!

Love, Miss Camila
