Soft Ombré Eyes and Lips

Hello and happy Monday. Before I start talking about today’s look, I wanted to explain that whenever I tell you about a “soft” kind of look, I’m basically talking about the “baby” version of the look. Remember that I’m recreating makeup looks that go all the way back to 2013 or so, and that by then I didn’t have the confidence or the skill to do very adventurous or intense looks.

Now, when you read or listen to the word “ombré,” just think of a color scale, which goes from the lightest to the darkest. Many eye looks start with a very light color in the inner corner, and they become darker as we progress to the outer corner. For lips, ombré usually means that you apply a darker color as a base, and in the center of the lips, you apply a lighter one. Here are the steps I followed to achieve those soft ombré eyes and lips:

  1. Primer
  2. Foundation
  3. Concealer
  4. Powder
  5. Eyebrows
  6. Light beige (base)
  7. Golden brown (outer corner)
  8. Light gold (inner corner)
  9. Black eyeliner (tightline)
  10. Mascara
  11. Bronzer
  12. Blush
  13. Nude liquid lipstick
  14. Light pink lipstick (center of the lips)

When it comes to the lips, do you apply the ombré technique or do you just go for one product? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy Monday,

Love, Miss Camila
