Hello and happy Monday. I know this post is going up after the February unboxing, but it’s not really that big of a deal, is it? Anyway, let’s start talking about all the stuff I got.
This isn’t the kind of lotion you apply every night (unless you have super dry skin, in which case this might be an option). To me, it’s the kind of lotion I apply once every few weeks, when I’m staying home. This is literally my “self-care” lotion. It’s really thick, so you only need a small amount to cover large surfaces of your body. It has a strong scent of cake batter, which I love, but if it’s not your thing, then it might bother you.
I got the lightest shade, which works for me because it’s actually the exact same color as my eyebrows. My hair is darker at the moment, so lately I’ve gone for darker eyebrows as well, but on days when I’m wearing little makeup or a very soft look, I like more natural-looking brows, and that’s when this gel comes in handy. I love how it applies and I love that it keeps the brows in place throughout the day.
I’ve been playing around with this shadow because I’m absolutely in love with it. It’s got this metallic vibe, and though in the pan it looks like the perfect combination of hot pink and burgundy, it also has bronze/copper undertones that make it look great with more earthy tones.
I’m not sure how this happened, but now I have a pretty decent collection of highlighters. Most of them, though, tend to be too champagne-y for my taste, you know? That makes me only reach for them when I go for full glam. I do like to play with highlight in subtler looks, and that’s when this product comes in handy. I feel that it brings the shimmer without adding more color, which is what other highlighters do. It’s basically the kind of highlighter I want to wear with “I just put on mascara and some lipgloss” kinda looks.
You know when it comes to hair care, I like to play around. I like oils, masks, conditioners, and sprays, but it had been a while since a new hair cream came to my hands. I like this cream for two reasons: 1. it smells like orange cream (if that’s a thing, I don’t know), and 2. it makes my hair come back to life after I wash it. Honestly, it gives a nice shape and definition to my waves, but in a very natural way, and that’s what I’m into.
Now, let’s do something different to end this post. In the January bag, we got this card that said “I will conquer __________.” I wrote “I will conquer the world,” and I will do so one city at a time if I have the means to. What do you want to conquer and why? Let me know in the comments below.
Love, Miss Camila
