Hello and happy Sunday. A few days ago I was packing for a trip, and I noticed that out of all my clothing items and sets, three were from Adore Me , and I wasn’t even taking all of the stuff I own from that brand. I got introduced to Adore Me by Danielle Rae and you know me, if a YouTuber tries it, then I have to try it.
Adore Me is an online store that sells everything from swimwear to PJs to lingerie, and let me tell you, everything is great quality. You can become a VIP member, and what that means is that you get to buy an item or a set each month, and you qualify for awesome deals, and free products. You don’t need to be a VIP member, but I highly suggest you become one.
In today’s post I’ll show you my Adore Me stuff, I’ll share my thoughts, and will link each item to the store’s page in case you want to get it. This is not going to be a try-on haul because it’s too much work, but you can check out my Instagram where I’ve posted pictures of items in this post. Let’s get started, shall we?
I’m a bit sad that my first purchase on Adore Me was kind of a fail because I had super high expectations. Now, it was my fault that this first order was a fail, and I’ll explain you why. I’m usually an M when it comes to tops, and this particular one fits alright, but I feel that it could look better on me if it were a Large. The big problem, though, are the bottoms. I ordered them in Large, which is my size, but I wanted them high waisted and I have no idea why I ordered hipster bottoms. All in all, despite that the pattern is pretty and the two pieces fit, I don’t feel comfortable wearing them, so I think I will be giving them away or selling them.
This is what I look for in a bikini. I love how the bottoms fit me, and I love the shape of the top. The straps can be removed from the top, but because of its shape, it still gives a ton of support. I like to feel that my boobs are under control, even if I’m on vacation and I should be relaxing, saggy boobs are not my thing.
One thing I love about this is that I actually got it for free, so I got the Zayda and this one for the price of one set. The shape of the bottoms is the same as the Zayda ones, which we already know I loved and they work for me. I know high-waisted bottoms can look like they were made for a grandma, but once you put them on, they look gorgeous. Now, for the top. I feel like it’s one of those styles you either full-on love or full-on hate. It’s a halter top, and it’s got a zipper in the middle, which actually works. The back is gorgeous, and it’s perfect if you want a tan, because let’s face it, you’re not going to get a tan on your chest area with this top. It’s not the most comfortable thing in the world, but maybe if you want to swim in a two-piece, this can be a good option.
This robe makes all my extra, Khloé Kardashian wannabe dreams come true. I wear it inside the house, I wear it when I’m on a trip and my PJs are tiny and I don’t want to flash my whole family, and lately I wore it to go to the pool and I was totally living for it. It comes in just one size, which is XL, so it’s perfect for me because I’m big and tall and I like my robes loose.
Just give me this set in every color available. I’m obsessed with this and I wish I could wear it every single day. When I wear this, I wish I could be a Real Housewife and just walk around doing nothing and looking fabulous. The top is cropped, but the pants are high-rise, so the belly area is actually not showing, because that is something that personally concerns me. There are different styles for the top, but the colors vary.
I’m currently all about bodysuits, but if I had to choose only one to wear for the rest of my life, it’d be this. Sara is the perfect combination of mesh and lace and absolute sexiness while still being classy. I’ve worn it with pants and with skirts, and I think it looks great. It is completely seethrough, so if you have a problem with showing some skin, I’d wear black shapewear underneath. I’ve done that and it still looks A+.
Had you heard about Adore Me? What are your thoughts on it and on the pieces I showed you? Let me know in the comments!
