Hello and happy Wednesday. I feel like I haven’t done a physical book haul in the longest time, and that’s because I hadn’t actually bought any physical books in English for a while. Of course, that was until I got totally crazy and bought seven books online form this local store I love. In today’s post I’ll share the titles, and tell you why I bought each. Let’s get started, shall we?
This is the third book of the Dorothy Must Die series, and although I don’t plan to read it right away because I still haven’t read The Wicked Will Rise, I just thought it was a good opportunity to get it and add it to my TBR list.
Same as Yellow Brick War; I just have all the books from the PLL series in my wish list, so as soon as I see one, I buy it, either in physical or digital format.
This book wasn’t even in my wish list, but I saw it and knew I had to buy it. I’m not only going to review it in here, I’m also planning on developing a book study to put in my TPT store. I’ll let you know as soon as it’s up so that you can check it out.
I must’ve added this book to my wish list a very long time ago for the sole reason that Gillian Flynn is the writer and though I haven’t read anything by her, I want to because I’ve heard many great things. I think this is the kind of book that will leave me having no faith in humanity, and I’m so ready for it.
Fun fact: Becca Fitzpatrick came to Colombia about five years ago for a book fair. I had absolutely no idea who she was at the moment and only until recently I realized that she was the author of Dangerous Lies. I want to read this book because I’ve hear, read, and seen people talk about it nonstop and I want to join in on the party.
Technically I read this book both in English and Spanish for school, but we all know that reading a book for school is not the same as reading it for pleasure. I want to re-discover this world and I also want to do a novel study to put up in my store.
I know my sixth-grade English teacher had the best intentions when she selected Matilda for reading and studying, but I don’t remember any of the book, my only memories are from the movie. I’ll be doing a novel study for this book as well, and will be making this bundle of four Roald Dahl books so that you can get them all for a lower price.
Now, tell me, what’s the last physical book you’ve bought and what motivated you to buy it?
Love, Miss Camila
