Netflix Talk: Jessica Jones

Netflix Talk: Jessica Jones

NETFLIX TALK- (1).pngHello and happy Tuesday. You know what the title means, so let’s just get on with it, shall we? I started watching Jessica Jones because I love Krysten Ritter and also I was curious to watch a show about a super hero or a super human or whatever Jessica Jones is. And though the show is darker and gloomier than what I’m used to watching, I became obsessed with it. The fact that when I watched it there was only one season on Netflix helped me get through the whole show. You know, I’m still waiting for Shonda Rhimes to put her act together and release new Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder episodes, or you know, to tell Netflix people that here in Colombia we’re dying for a new season in case there is one.

I loved this show because Jessica Jones is an absolute badass who’d do anything for the people she cares about. I loved it because it gives us the story about a strong woman who’s trying to save people, but who drinks a bit (a lot) too much, and who has a messy life. I love this because women are forced to be perfect and have everything sorted out in their lives, when in reality no one really does, and showing that a person with super powers can still have a messy life is a relief.

I enjoyed season 1 and would definitely watch a season 2 if it were to exist. For now, Luke Cage, the spinoff series is on my list and I will for sure watch and enjoy every second of it because ugh, Luke Cage is just gorgeous.

Now tell me, what show about super heroes or super humans should I watch next?

Happy Tuesday!

Love, Miss Camila
