Hello and happy Sunday. Remember that last time I did an update I told you I was going to be super strict with my eating and workouts? Well, I was, and it totally paid off because on the most recent appointment with my nutritionist, I found out I’d lost two kilograms (which is about four pounds, so kind of like two pounds a week).
What that means is that I’m closer to the weight goal my nutritionist set for me, and that I’m at the lowest weight I’ve been since the beginning of this journey. It means I’m super close to have a “normal” BMI as opposed to one of an overweight person. You can’t imagine how happy and motivated that makes me feel right now.
I accomplished this by eating every two hours and trying my best not to cheat, and also taking my fat-reducing pills twice a day. Of course, exercise was key. I alternated between Zumba and Pilates, and I also threw in a weekly session of HIIT at home.
The only thing that surprised me was the fact that I lost muscle mass, and that translates into me having to do more toning exercises to get that mass back. My nutritionist prescribed some new pills I have to start taking as soon as the current ones are over so that I keep losing fat on my lower abdomen (I kid you not, I have to wear a belt with all of my pants, and I have to keep pulling my leggings up all the time). She also modified my diet in terms of my mid-morning and mid-afternoon meals.
As for my target weight, it remains the same. I’m doing HIIT twice a week and struggling to go to Zumba on Sundays but it’s hard for me to find the strength and willpower to go. My fitness resolution is to get back on track and fall in love with Zumba again, or find an alternative to it. In the comments below, tell me one of your fitness goals.
Love, Miss Camila
