Hello and happy Sunday. Once again it’s time for me to share my empties, my thoughts of them, and whether or not I’ll be repurchasing them. Let’s get started, shall we?
This is what I used to wear whenever I went out to party during my senior year of high school. Needless to say, this thing was old. I love this with the passion of one thousand burning suns, and I think it has to do with the fact that it brings back a lot of memories, but the fragrance itself was wonderful. This is the kind of perfume you’d like to wear when you want people to notice you’ve arrived somewhere, like “oh, shit, it smells like her,” and I loved being asked what I was wearing. I’d buy this again any day, but I’m pretty sure it’s no longer available, and though I’ve smelled Touch of Pink, I don’t think it’s nearly as good as Love of Pink.
Hello Kitty Body Mist in Soft and Sweet
I love splashes and body mist for my everyday life, which I said in my Things That Smell Nice post. This Hello Kitty mist had more of a vanilla kind of scent, which is usually too sweet for me, but was okay in small doses. I also used it before going to Zumba so that nobody noticed I hadn’t showered, and it was nice. I love trying out new fragrances within my range of tastes, so I wouldn’t buy this particular product again, especially because I got it at Sanborns in Mexico, and it’s no longer in existence.
Dollar Tree Makeup Removing Wipes
These were part of a present from my dad, and if you want to check out everything that he got me you can click here. These were bought at the Dollar Tree, and I think that’s something that has to be considering while writing this review because I can’t expect them to compare to the same product from prestigious brands. With that in mind, I’d say they did the job, although yes, I had to make an extra effort, especially on my lips and eyes. Of course I’d buy them again, they’re $1! I’d use them, though, on days when I’m not really wearing that much makeup.
I’ve already dedicated a whole post to this deodorant, so I’ll keep my review short and sweet. This thing smells fantastic, it is perfect if your armpits are sensitive or tend to get dry, and it really works. I plan on using it as my regular deodorant once I move to the US so that shipping costs won’t be as high.
If the Lacoste perfume reminded me of my senior year in high school, this one brings back all the memories from my first semesters in universities, when I discovered flirty dresses, wore chunky rings and fancy scarves and pashminas. This scent is exactly that: flirty, fancy, but also playful, and strong in a way that’s not overpowering. I’d buy it again, but I want to see if I fall in love with a new scent first. Maybe when I’m rich and famous I’ll get it.
L’Oreal BB Cream in Medium
This was way too liquid and not at all my shade because it had a yellow undertone, so I ended up looking darker than I really am. I’m not sure if they keep selling it, this was actually a present from my grandmother who tried it and didn’t like it. Definitely not buying it again.
This was my first mascara love and it’ll always occupy an important space in my makeup heart. Is it the best mascara I’ve tried? No. Is it the most extreme mascara? Nope. Are there better drugstore mascaras out there? Totally. I’d buy it again, of course I would. I used this babe until it dried out, and I was kind of sad because it had become my go-to everyday mascara, but since I put it in my empties bin I’ve dealt just fine with the other mascaras I’ve got. If you’re a beginner, though, this thing is game-changing.
Speaking about mascaras that in my opinion are better than the Falsies one, we have the Maybelline Sensational mascara. The wand is an improved version of the Falsies one, so you’ll actually get more length, volume and lash separation than with the Falsies, so basically you get a more false-lash effect with the Sensational mascara. Will I buy it again? Hell, I don’t know why I haven’t already.
This thing is the queen of face cleansers. I swear it’s basically sugar and almond oil and it’s oh so good. This is incredibly soft in the skin, but it works better than any of those chemical-filled heavy duty face washes out there. I got a sample from Ipsy and cherished it until the tube was empty, and I want to buy it again, but it’s super expensive for me and I’m not sure if it ships to Colombia, so for now it’s in my “things I’ll buy when I live in the States” list.
So, those were my empties. Click here to check out my first empties post, and let me know in the comments whether you’ve tried any of these products or if you’d like to try them out and why.
Love, Miss Camila
