May Glam Bag Unboxing + Review

May Glam Bag Unboxing + Review

Hello and happy Sunday. I recently got my Ipsy Glam Bag for the month of May and wanted to share with you the products I got and my thoughts on them. Let’s get started!

It Cosmetics My Sculpted Face

This is a contour and highlight kit I got when I re-subscribed to Ipsy. I’m totally in love with It Cosmetics and I think it’s an amazing brand. There are six shades: two for contouring, two for bronzing and two for highlighting. I think this will become my go-to product for contouring because it has everything I need and more.

Urban Decay After Glow Highlighter in Sin

I have to admit I’m not fully in the highlighting game yet, so I have very few highlighters. This product though, is the perfect shade for me and it has just the right amount of pigmentation. It builds up if you want a super stunning look, but it can also be on the more conservative side, if there’s such a thing when talking about highlighters. Urban Decay is a killer brand and I love its products.

Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Super Intense Eye Shadow Duo in Electric

Eye shadows are my absolute babies. A good eye shadow means everything to me, and these duo is the perfect product for summer. The shades are shimmery, which I love because it provides versatility and allows for basically any sort of eye look you want, and the colors are absolutely lovely. They’re both rusty-looking, which I’m super into, and they look great by themselves or together. Guess what I’ll be wearing this summer on my eyes?

Endless Silky Eye Pen in BlackNoir from Pixi by Petra

I was kind of disappointed to know that I was getting yet another eyeliner from Ipsy because it’s my fourth one among liquid and pencil eyeliners. I hoped this one would at least be the OpalOvercoat one, and I was actually starting to think about a look I could try with this product, but I got the black one and, oh well, added it to my collection. I tried it straight away and loved the pigmentation, but it bleeds out a little too much for my liking, so if you want a super precise, tightlining look, don’t reach for this one. If you’re into a reverse smokey eye and like your lower line makeup to be smudged out, then by all means try this product.

Bésame Mucho Lip Balm by Hey Honey

Lip balm is any liquid lipstick lover’s best friend. Wherever I go, I make sure to have lip balm with me, so this one was very well received. I’d gotten Hey Honey products in the past and loved them, so I was really happy to get something else from that brand. This balm is awesome, and it feels and smells great.

Luxie Beauty Dreamcatcher Precision Foundation Brush 660

For a while now, I’ve been applying my foundation with a beauty sponge, but now that the summer’s here, I might take advantage of this new tool, wash all my sponges and try it out. I have other Luxie Beauty brushes and really like them, so I’m excited to give this one a try, especially for lighter foundation.

That’s it for today’s post. I’m very happy with the products I got and I’m excited to do an actual look using them. Now tell me, what is your favorite beauty subscription box and why?

Happy Sunday!

Love, Miss Camila
