Post-Beach Hair and Skin Care

Post-Beach Hair and Skin Care

Hello and happy Sunday. It’s July which means I’ll soon be on vacation, and hopefully I’ll travel somewhere because the weather in Bogota is cold and sad. Whenever I come back from a trip, especially if it is to the beach, I spend one whole morning in this hair and skin care ritual because as much fun as I have in my trips, I end up looking (and feeling) like a complete mess.

For my hair, I’m currently loving my L’Oreal Extraordinary Clay shampoo and conditioner. I love this duo because my hair gets super clean and at the same time I feel my dry tips being restored. I know it’s not like a complete repair therapy or whatever, but it’s what I’m currently loving and what works for me and my hair.

As for skin care, I divide my routine into face and body. For my face I sometimes go for one of those black head removing nose strips before applying a mask. Then I use my baby, the Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask, and as soon as I wash my face after it dries, I can feel the smoothness again. I then wash my face in the shower with the Befine Exfoliating Cleanser and that’s what brings back my smooth human-like face while removing all the impurities (you know, like salt, sand and other stuff that can stick to your skin while in the beach).

For my body, I use a Victoria’s Secret duo, so I begin with the acai Smoothing Scrub Wash to exfoliate and, just as I did on my face, remove impurities and get rid of dead, dry skin in a gentle way. Step number two is the Ultrarich Cream Wash, which is super moisturizing and has the most delicate scent. That’s what makes me happy after coming back from the beach, really. I finish this intense care therapy by applying a super hydrating body lotion that has a strong scent, so that I can skip perfume.

What is your post-beach or post travel routine? Tell me about it!

Happy Sunday!

Love, Miss Camila
