Hello and happy Wednesday. Remember a few weeks ago when I wrote about my experience with Book Outlet and the package that got lost in the mail and whatever? Well, I’m glad to announce that after my little rant I decided to be smart about the whole thing by giving Book Outlet another chance, this time having the books sent to my P.O Box in Miami and from there to Colombia.
That’s exactly what I did, and by the end of the week I had a box full of the books I’d ordered.
I got Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn, Fire With Fire by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian, Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella, The Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jenn Bennett, and Deadly from the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard. As soon as I read these books, I’ll definitely post a review.
Now, let’s talk about my March Book Drop box, which arrived quite early, as opposed to my February one (I tell you everything about it here) and my January one, which I have yet to receive. I got the purple piece of paper, which talks about the book included in the box, a shamrock pin, a Bethany Beach Books bookmark, a letter by the book’s author, and obviously a book. This month I got The Smell of Other People’s Houses by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock, and I’m really excited about it because I’d heard about it but didn’t add it to my wish list, so this is an opportunity to read it. I love the fact that the author wrote a letter, and I think that’s what makes March’s box so special. I did contact Bethany Beach Books about my January box and am still waiting for a reply, but I’ll update you on this whole situation once I’m given a response.
I signed up for a three-month subscription, so this was supposed to be my last box, but we’ll see if I finally get my January box, even if it’s been three months already.
What books have you gotten recently? Are you into subscription boxes? Tell me about them!
Love, Miss Camila
